IGP has taken the decision to include additional land near Site A within the land under consideration for solar and associated development, this will be referred to as Site A.2. The original Site A will still be referred to as Site A.

Site A.2 is land within the cable route search area and approximately 160 acres (65 hectares), bringing the total size of the project to approximately 1,200 hectares (excluding the cable route area).

Our National Grid generation capacity agreement has not changed, meaning we do not need to generate any more energy from the development by including more solar panels. With the additional land in Milton Keynes and at Site A.2, we have greater flexibility over where the panels are located to minimise environmental impacts from the development.
