Our consultation has closed. We would like to thank everyone who engaged with us between 7 November and 19 December 2024. We held four in-person and three online consultation events during this period, and we encouraged feedback on our detailed design proposals, including our preliminary environmental impact assessments and measures being taken to reduce the impact of the Scheme. All our consultation materials will remain available to view on our website.

We will now review the feedback received to help us to finalise the detailed proposals for the Scheme. The feedback we have received will also be used to prepare the Environmental Statement.

We will produce a consultation report outlining how your feedback has been taken into account. The Environmental Statement and consultation report will accompany the Development Consent Order (DCO) application, which we are expecting to submit to the Planning Inspectorate (PINS) in Spring 2025.

Important Note on Postal Feedback

To account for potential postal delays over the festive period, we will accept feedback forms sent via freepost until 10 January. Feedback submitted via email or online after the official close of consultation on 19 December may not be considered.
